We’d recommend clearing the surface at the earliest opportunity, this is because the cycle of constant process of freezing and thawing with different temperatures has been known to crack concrete driveways. If you really have to use a shovel then choose one that’s plastic avoiding anything metal.
• If you use your vehicle and re-park on the driveway be sure not to of carried across any excessive salt from gritted roads.
